A sad LovestoryIs There A Dragonfly On Your Shoulder?

There were two sweethearts in a quiet and beautiful small town. They went to the beach for sunrise and sunset every day. Every passer-by envied them two very much.

But one day, in a car accident, the girl got hurt very seriously. She was lying in bed in a hospital and still never came to life after quite a few days. In the daytime, the boy was calling his sweetheart who was unconscious all the time at her bedside; at night, he ran to the church in the small town and prayed to God. His tears had run dry.

A month passed, the girl was still unconscious .The boy became very languish, but he still continue

A sad love storyIt hurts when someone you love so much doesn't feel the same,
It hurts even more when your heart's breaking and u can't cry,
One thing that haunts me every day and every night is your name,
I'd say I'm happy for you, but you'd know it's all a lie.

I told myself I would never come in between you and your girl,
I know your happy with her, I can see it in your eyes, I can hear it in your voice,
My heart breaks every time you say that she's your girl,
I wanted to be your girl but I guess I was never your first choice.

Looking at you, looking at her, I wondered if I could've made you happy,
Your smile, your laughter, your face and your vo

When you can see it in their face and in their eye
Sadness is when you can see their pride obstruct
When you can see that they're about to self-destruct

When you can see that there is no way they can remain

Sadness is when too many emotions become dumbfounded
When you yourself feel the weights of life compounded
Sadness is when you have a defined lack of choice
When you can hear death creeping though someone's voice

A heaven built from pain,
Nightmares begotten from lies.
A girl that struggles to stay sane,
Thus our story will begin from a mere vice.

Forgotten by everyone and damned for life,
She seeks out her sanctuary with her little knife.
Unwanted and cursed with rejection,
She’s entranced into her rapture to escape the tension.

Crying tears filled with disdain,
She cowers in a corner helpless, in vain.
The darkness obscure her watery eyes,
And painfully wraps her like a shield from their lies.

Their lies.
Like mephitic needles, they stab her heart.
Unfortunate and unknown, they leave a mark,
A mark of pain and so

Sad Love Story"Trust me," he said,
And held out his hand.
"I will" she replied,
Like trusting the sand.

"Love me," he cooed,
And showed off his heart.
"I love you," she said,
Now can't be apart.

"Follow me," he insisted,
And started to show.
"Take me away," She agreed,
And let her life go.

"Leave me," he ordered,
And pushed her away.
" I hate you!" she cried,
Still lost to this day.

"Kill me," she whispered,
As she looked down the cup.
"Need to go," she sobbed,
Her life, to the poison, gave up.

SadRight now I sit and watch as sadness shows from more then one friend. I try to let myself be cheerful, but sadness spreads through me like a disease. Sad is what I feel when you are sad, it's what I feel because you feel the sadness through and through. I feel sad that I cannot help you. I feel as though I'm not a true friend. True friends should be able to fix things like this. To cheer you up even when you're hurting. I don't expect you to show me a smiling mask. I don't expect you to cheer up just for my benefit. I won't ask you to change just for me. I will hope and pray that soon, someday, your days will become brighter, happier. Like yo

she likes to pretend that,
nothing with her is ever wrong.

but she cant hide the fact,
that she will always feel alone.
and pretending that she isnt fucked up,
is less comforting than actually feeling whole.

so lets continue on,
and ignore her tear stained cheeks.
because even though she says she is okay,
she really wants you to open your eyes and see.

she wants someone to stop her,
and look her in the eye.
she wants someone to tell her,
to stop living this lie.

but so far she is of no importance,
and people ignore her cries.

SadnessDescending into the darkest chamber there,
I walked in quietly and sat in my chair.
I looked to the fire's empty flame,
and knew I would never be the same.

Just like a soft autumn breeze, it left me.
my feeling...my emotion...all are just empty.
I can't understand this...but I really don't care.
I'll just sit in my chair and into the fire I'll stare.

Lonesome silence dancing 'round me...
Confusion altering my mind to see...
My fears tingling beneathe my skin...
I think I'll scream but I don't know when.

Crying...clawing...trying to escape
I worry I will never reach the gate
then nothing...I feel nothing now
like I have grown nu

The Sad ThingThe Sad Things

It is a terrible thing for a person to lose the will to live.

It is an extremely terrible thing for an artist to lose the will to create...
or a dancer to lose the will to dance...
or a singer to lose the will to sing...

I call these people depressed.

But it is the worst of all, when a child loses the will to dream.

I call these people adults.
No matter how hard we try,
We will inevitably be forced by social conditioning to turn into adults.

Sad Eyes

I guess sad eyes never lie
No matter how hard they try
The pain is always there
Always in that mournful stare

Eyes so glassy and empty
So much so it envokes pity
What stole the soul of these beautiful spheres?
What could take away all their hopes and fears?

What cold heart could kill their light?
Turing from open and warm to cool and tight?
Poor little orbs of blue, brown, and green
How could the world be so cruel and mean?

I know behind that wall you've built you wish to cry
Because sad eyes can never lie

So once more I was feelin melancholy (men do that to you) and I happened to look over at my mirror just as my Enrique Iglesias cd started to play the song "Sad Eyes". My reflection was a sad sight. My eyes had no light and reminded me of a doll, but I could still see my pain just below the surface. So I was inspired to write this poem. Enjoy y'all
